Founded in 1917, Shunzangama is known for its attractive style that incorporates modern sensibilities while preserving the traditions of Kiyomizu ware.

This mug features a magnificent phoenix bordered in three dimensions by a Japanese phoenix and decorated with luster paint, a type of paint that gives it a beautiful luster.


The Itchin technique involves squeezing lines one by one from a ceramic clay called shirogesho using a squeezer.

This is a very labor-intensive pottery technique.

These mugs are made with special techniques and colors, and are recommended as gifts for loved ones or as a treat for yourself.
