Kenji Matsuoka of Heian Rakudo quietly operates his pottery studio in Yamashina, Kyoto.
Born into a long line of Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware artisans, he naturally embraced the craft, working with clay to create pieces that seamlessly blend into daily life.
