Shop Owner’s Note

This bowl is a stunning homage to the traditional "Rimpa" school of art. Set against a soft white ceramic base, it features cherry blossoms drifting through a golden mist. The gold leaf background captures the ethereal, glowing atmosphere of a spring morning, making the white blossoms appear remarkably noble.

Yamaoka-san has masterfully translated the decorative beauty loved by 17th-century Japanese painters into a modern masterpiece. It is the perfect vessel for celebrating the arrival of spring or for a joyful tea moment with your favorite artisanal sweets.
