Shop Owner’s Note
This bowl presents a breathtaking contrast. The exterior is finished in a quiet, understated ash glaze with a hand-painted "Old Pine" design. However, the interior is coated in full gold leaf. When you whisk Matcha inside, the vibrant green of the tea glows spectacularly against the golden background.
This design captures both the strength of traditional art and the brilliance of Japanese luxury. It is a striking choice for everything from your daily morning tea to festive celebratory occasions.
