Matcha Bowl - Oribe Lamb by Hosen

A serene presence inheriting tradition

Kyo-yaki Kiyomizu-yaki matcha bowls are tea utensils that have been refined alongside the culture of pottery nurtured in Kyoto.

The unique undulations of handcrafted work and the familiar feel that develops with use add depth to a moment of tea.

For tea ceremonies and daily tea breaks

These bowls are perfect for formal tea ceremonies as well as for enjoying matcha at home.

Whether in use or simply displayed, they bring a soft, Japanese presence to any room.

The joy of choosing is part of the pottery experience

At Kotopotter, we specialize in Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki, valuing both artistic quality and usability.

We invite you to enjoy the matcha moments that begin with this single bowl.

A note from the owner

This is a Hosen matcha bowl featuring an adorable lamb depicted on a deep Oribe glaze.

It features a simple, rustic texture and gently depicted lambs, creating a somewhat pastoral and warm atmosphere. The contrast between the powerful Oribe glaze and the gentle animal motif is also appealing.

This is an approachable bowl that adds a playful touch to the traditional Oribe style.
