The unique color and three-dimensionality of Koushi

The most attractive feature of this work is its vivid, transparent colors.

The unique beauty of this piece is highlighted by the use of "Kouchi" glaze, a material unique to Kyoto.

The three-dimensional frames that surround the patterns are carefully raised by hand one by one.

It is finished with a refined look using skilled techniques and delicate handwork.

Shopkeeper's illustration

Shop owner's comment

This bowl depicts a scene of wild geese flying gently across a pale vermilion background, reflecting the setting sun.

The subtle reddish hue evokes the air of a sunset, and there is a warmth to it that makes you feel as autumn quietly flows by.

The image of the geese gracefully spreading their wings gently conveys the change of seasons, and holding it gives you a sense of travel.

This matcha bowl has a gentle flavor that will gently add color to your evening.

Absolutely exquisite! I know very little about Kyoto ceramics, and had initially eyed it for its aesthetics. Am beginning to learn the many difficult and complex elements it implemented. Honoured to own this piece by Ichinyo. Thank you Kotopotter.

I had been searching for a tea bowl featuring Fujin and Raijin (the gods of wind and thunder) to match my thunder-themed tea caddy.

I've always liked slip-trailing designs, but I really love the arrangement and composition of this tea bowl.

Thank you so much for this wonderful item.

この度はお買い求めいただきありがとうございました。
またの御利用を心よりお待ちしております。
