Tōraku Tōen, a long-established Kyo-ware / Kiyomizu-ware pottery studio in Kyoto, Japan, introduces the Shisai-Kamon collection—a graceful harmony of traditional technique and modern design.
This cup and saucer set features a soft purple glaze, shimmering gold detailing, and refined Mishima-style stamped motifs. It’s a beautifully balanced expression of classical Japanese artistry and contemporary elegance.
The pale lavender base is layered with white slip, deep violet, and gold, offering a richly textured finish that delights the senses.
Each decoration is carefully applied by hand by skilled Kyoto artisans, making every set truly one of a kind.
The saucer can be used not only as a base for the cup, but also as a small plate for serving cake, wagashi (Japanese sweets), or other treats.
Elegant and versatile, this handmade ceramic set makes a thoughtful gift or a refined addition to your everyday rituals.
