Tanaka Seito, a ceramic studio located in Keihoku, Kyoto, is run solely by young potter Daiki Tanaka, who honed his skills under the guidance of master artisans specializing in Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware.
Tanaka Seito's dedication to selecting high-quality raw materials and creating translucent white porcelain results in durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing tableware. The studio has garnered a loyal following both in Japan and abroad.

The charming hand-painted designs are created by "Thinking Brush," an artist who trained alongside Daiki Tanaka in the same ceramic environment. She collaborates with Tanaka Seito as part of her creative endeavors, combining her artistic freedom with Tanaka’s expertly crafted forms.
By applying freehand illustrations to Tanaka’s pottery, she brings a fresh and creative perspective that transcends traditional Kiyomizu-ware conventions.

Enjoy the unique combination of meticulously crafted porcelain, original hand-painted designs, and the innovative spirit of modern Kyoto ceramics.
