Shop owner's comment

This is a cylindrical matcha bowl with "Takara-zukushi Shippo-mon" (Seven Treasures and Lucky Charms pattern) painted on a pale pink Kochi glaze.

This is a very gorgeous bowl, with the Shippo pattern layered across the entire vessel and auspicious "Takara-zukushi" motifs depicting various treasures like the Uchide-no-Kozuchi (magic mallet), Takara-bukuro (treasure bag), and scrolls, symbolizing wishes for good fortune and prosperity.

The meticulous decoration on the soft, pale pink ground creates a finish that combines cuteness and elegance. The dignified appearance unique to the cylindrical shape also makes for a beautiful piece.
